Laura: An interesting and detailed article. I have found some people from my past thru both Google and Yahoo!. I've never found anyone thru MSN. But I must agree with many of the others who commented about not finding enough sights that do not require me to open my wallet. For me to find one of the most important people in my past, I had to pay. There was no other way. The listings in both Google and Yahoo! and probably MSN, as well, are for people who have a listing in the phonebook. A published number and address. If the person I'm looking for has an unlisted number, the only way I'm going to get information about that person is to pay. It would be fun to have one or more websites that are free and would give me the information I seek, but then, what good would the unlisted number be to the person who owns it?

This article was actually rather helpful. I've found out that one does not have to look to far to find a beloved. My family and I are all very pleased. At one point, I was almost lost of all hope, until I stumbled upon this article. Thus, it has changed my life by freeing me of not having to live through days of undefiable lonesomness.

hey, you want to clue us all in on what that not having to look to far method was that  "pleased" your whole family (too much) so?   Phone book..Jerry Springer maybe???

Ahh! A very specified article indeed. I have not found one of this quality since the newspapers of Benjamin Franklin. I'm very glad that I'm not the only one looking for a "beloved" or a friend. So to conclude, I was very content with this article.

I agree - no free sites what-so-ever! Can we say "false advertising?" /:o Tina from Minnesota

Sweetie ~ the only thing I can suggest is that you maybe contact Oprah or Maury (preferrably Oprah since she seems so kind hearted).  you may have to go public on one of her shows but Oprah seems like such a caring person who honesly like to do good things for people.  She actually has the resources and the money to help you out.  It's worth a try.  Good luck to you.  I sincerely hope you can find your dad so you will no longer have to wonder.  From a mom of 2 teen-age girls.

what I find to be odd is that many people are searching for info and no engine seems to offer any user options to increase the amount of time that the engine will search for. What many people are unaware of is that all of the results that they are encountering consist of information that exists on a particular set of servers. Without an interface that allows for the option to choose search parameters based on more than just the standard stuff, the chances of ever uncovering anything significant is next to none. Take some time and learn about how your computer works and then sit down and design your own search engine. Take the collars off people and stop being lead around like the sheep that those with the money want us all to behave like.

Have you tried the hospital where they were born? Sorry for the delay in response. I hope you were able to find the children.
