Family sized can of condensed Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches along with canned fruit will easily feed a family of four for $10.00.

Awesome suggestion! My kids actually had their favorite character soup tonight!

Adding about a can of drained Rotel tomatos and peppers to the chili makes it even tastier! Also, you can sautee a little onion in the pot before you cook it and then cook them down in the chili.. yum! Still keeping within your budget! Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Recipes - Kid Food book also has some really great ideas picky people like me will eat, I'd suggest it for easy-on-time, easy-on-pocketbook recipes anytime!

None of these meals are very healthy. I like to make large cobb salads with chopped up deli meat we already have on hand and come canned vegetables like corn, olives, black beans, and peas. Throw this over chopped lettuces (even bagged lettuce) and its still under $10 AND better for you than any of the above!
